Craft of the Month for December 1998

This month's craft was fun and simple! A small amount of prior cutting was necessary, but nothing complicated.

Christmas Ornaments

Materials:
Tacky Glue
Red & White pipe cleaners & a wooden clothes pin;
Red or green felt and some sequins or beads;
Clear plastic or glads ball-type ornament (check with craft store), red fabric paint and some small pom-poms in red & green.

These crafts are very simple. First craft:
Candy Cane: Take the pipe cleaners, twist them together to resemble a candy cane and glue to clothes pin (painted red if desired). Voila! My daughter just hung hers on the tree sans clothes pin.
Star: Cut felt into shape of star and let child glue sequins all over it!
Balls: Stuff pom-poms into ornament, write child's name and year on outside with fabric paint. Comes out very pretty for something so simple!
