The Cooking Club theme this month was going to be "Kid's Snacks", but it was cancelled due to sickness. The following recipe is from Parent's Magazine, Jan 1999 issue, and was submitted by Paula.
Here you go - and Happy Eating!
Granola
3 c Old Fashioned Oats
2/3 c creamy peanut butter
1/2 c raisins
1/2 c toasted oat cereal
1/2 c honey
1. Mix old fashioned oats and toasted oat cereal. Heat oven to 300 degrees. Coat jellyroll pan with cooking spray.
2. Combine peanut butter and honey in a small bowl and microwave on high for 20 seconds at a time until warm.
3. Mix well and stir into oats and cereal. Spread evenly in pan and bake for 20 minutes, stirring once halfway through cooking time.
4. Cool in pan, stirring in raisins and transfer to storage jar.
