The following recipe is our "Select Pick" from the monthly Cooking Club for July 1998. The theme was "
Kid Snacks!" In all honesty, this doesn't look like a recipe I'd make for my kids - this looks like one I'd hide in the bathroom to eat myself!

Indoor S'mores - submitted by Tamare
8 c Golden Graham cereal
6 c miniature marshmallows
1 & 1/2 c milk chocolate chips
1/4 c light corn syrup
5 Tbsp margarine
1 tsp vanilla
Measure cereal into a large bowl. Microwave 5 cups marshmallows, chocolate chips, corn syrup and margarine uncovered in a large microwavable bowl on High for 2 to 3-1/2 minutes, stirring after every minute, until melted and smooth when stirred. Stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal in bowl; quickly toss until completely coated. Stir in the last cup of marshmallows. Press mixture evenly into a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan, using back of a buttered spoon. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes for a firm bar or let stand uncovered at room temperature for an hour. Cut into 24 - 2 inch squares. Store loosely covered at room temperature for up to 2 days.
